Daily Create #19: The Danger Zone

The corner of Winslow Arizona holds a great deal of history. So WHY NOT stage a mock cowboy duel? That’s what he thought, at least. Standing there, hands visibly shaking, the man gingerly placed his hand on his pistol holster and met the gaze of his opponent. The opponent followed suit and confidently raised his hand to the holster on his hip. Both men dared not blink, or look away for that matter.

Then a woman yelled, “READY? SET. GO!”

Daily Create #16: Metaphorical Stairs

TDC #14

Wearin’ my Jesus sandals, exploring paths unknown. The exquisite nature of this mosaic is unforgettable. Each piece of stone strategically placed, an inspiration for my life. Glad I could share it with my fellow Daily Creators :)

Today’s Daily Create assignment is: “Show your mood today by taking a picture of stairs. Show your feet too. Stairs can be many things. They can be a path to enlightenment, a helper or an obstacle to getting up, or other things, too. Plus, a metaphor. Are you looking from the top or bottom of them? Show us some stairs!”

After substantial research, I found these incredible photographs to share with my fellow Daily Creators. To me, these images evoke a lot of emotion. All three personally relate to my life in some way and I am glad that I am able to share them with you. More of these photographs can be found at:

Daily Create #14: Poem of Stevenson

Today’s Daily Create assignment is: Poem of Stevenson— add some words to finish it
[ via ]

The friendly cow all red and white,
Color value at it’s finest.
Grazed in green, bathed in blue
And felt the warmth, all in yellow.

She wanders lowing here and there,
but here was too close and there,
was too far.
There was nowhere for her to go.

And blown by all the winds that pass,
She came to me, head hung low
And said, “Anywhere, but here.”

Daily Create #13: From Atop the Great Wall

TDC #13

This picture embodies the idea of immortality from my perspective. Few things will beat what it felt like to get to one of the highest checkpoints on the Great Wall.

Today’s Daily Create assignment is: Create a photo that represents the idea of immortality. This is my mental montage. At the end of yours ask yourself, which of your options seems the most appealing, which ones seem like they’re within the realm of reason?” This blog post that gave me the idea. Can you create a photo that shows us your inner landscape?
